What is Autocharge?
- Autocharge, or automatic charging, is a feature that allows starting the fast charging of an electric car without authentication.
- After initial activation, the electric charger recognizes the car charging cable connection and starts the charging session automatically.
- Autocharge only works with CCS2 connectors in fast chargers.
How to activate the service?
- Check this list to see if your car supports Autocharge.
- Find a suitable CCS2 fast charger from the Alexela app.
- Connect the charging cable and then start charging from the app.
- A notification will appear when Autocharge can be activated at the start of charging.
- Fill in the necessary fields, confirm the terms and activate Autocharge.
- Charging will start automatically when the charging cable is connected to the car.
Autocharge terms
- When activating Autocharge, it must be taken into account that in the future it will be possible to start charging the vehicle at fast chargers by connecting the charging cable without additional actions.
- If the user loses or sells their car, they are obliged to remove the car from the Alexela app to deactivate the Autocharge function. Until the deactivation of the Autocharge function, the user is obliged to pay for all charging sessions.
