How to sign an electricity contract?

1. First, sign a network contract with the network operator.
   To do this, contact the network operator in your area — in Estonia, the largest one is Elektrilevi. 
   If there is a change of ownership at the consumption location, the previous customer must submit an application to terminate the network contract. The new owner must sign a new network contract within 30 days after the previous owner has submitted the termination application.
2. Sharing consumption data.
   Once the network contract has been signed, grant Alexela permission to receive your consumption data in the Elering customer portal.
3. If the network contract is in place, you can sign an electricity supply contract with Alexela via Alexela self-service, by email at alexela@alexela.ee or by calling +372 629 0000.

Want to switch energy suppliers? Choose a suitable electricity package on the Alexela website and sign the contract. We will notify your previous electricity supplier on your behalf, and you won’t need to do anything else.

Which electricity plan should you choose?

When choosing an electricity plan, consider how important price certainty is to you and how actively you want to monitor electricity prices and manage your consumption. The plans are arranged from greater convenience and price certainty towards greater control and price risk:

If you prefer convenience and price certainty, focus mainly on the plans at the beginning of the list. If you want to manage your consumption more actively and are prepared for electricity price fluctuations, consider the plans towards the end of the list.

The most suitable electricity plan depends on the needs and consumption habits of each consumption point, as well as your risk tolerance. Therefore, it is worth choosing a plan separately for each consumption point.

Campaign terms

• The offer is valid for private customers who sign an electricity contract in Alexela self-service between 22.09 and 31.10.2026.
• We will give 10 digital stamps for each electricity contract that meets the campaign terms. There is no limit to the number of contracts.
• To receive the digital stamps, the electricity contract must be valid as of 14.11.2026, and the customer must not have any outstanding debt to Alexela on that date.
• The digital stamps will be added to the customer’s account on 18.11.2026.
