Channel for Reporting Violations
Ethical behaviour and conduct are one of Alexela's core values. To maintain this, we have a Code of Conduct that is regularly updated and revised. A crucial part of this code is receiving feedback from multiple sources, as it is unfortunately impossible to notice everything ourselves. That’s why we have created this channel here, so that anyone can report serious violations, unethical behaviour, or illegal activities. If you wish, this can be done anonymously.
What is this channel not intended for?
Feedback on products and services can be provided and questions can be asked in the general feedback form.
For example, questions to address in the general feedback form:
- How to join an electricity package?
- How to change an electricity package?
- What is the current price of electricity?
- How to get a duplicate receipt?
What type of violations can be reported here?
Potential violations suitable for reporting here may include:
- Fraud
- Corruption, bribery, or extortion
- Crimes
- Violation of the law or failure to fulfill regulatory obligations
- Endangering the dignity, health, and safety of individuals
- Concealment of any of the above
These examples are not exhaustive, and the list is not limited to these. If a serious violation has occurred that is not mentioned in this list, please report it, nonetheless.
How to report a violation?
Be aware that we encourage you to report violations, fraud, illegal activities, or unethical behavior. You have the option to do this by:
- As an Alexela employee, please contact your direct supervisor or the HR department.
- In all other cases, please fill out this form, which can be anonymous if you wish. If necessary, this can also be done by an Alexela employee.
All reports of misconduct will be treated with the utmost confidentiality, and the whistleblower's identity will be protected in accordance with applicable legal principles. Reporting violations is about safeguarding your dignity, security, and rights, as well as those of others. There is no need to fear it, it is the right thing to do.
